A project whose starting point is the common root in the Italian words “abito” (clothing) and “abitare” (to live in). The clothing it’s a moving space to transport and incorporate, to wear to communicate and live. The project begins with the rescue of disused clothes: they change their original function and they receive a special treatment against smog that allows to reuse objects. In this project, clothes and environment now interact in a new way, with a textile architecture where the dress doesn’t belong anymore to a single person, but to the community.
Promoted by Tesmapri and Conau (Used Clothing National Consortium), with the participation of Next Technology Tecnotessile research center.
